The partners have met for last time to address the closure of project. On 27th and 28th January, the entire consortium met at the headquarters of Confederación Nacional de la Construcción (CNC) to evaluate and discuss the pilot of ‘Eco-Trainers’ course and to reinforce necessary points of this training and the European qualification.
This Monday, the headquarters of CNC hosted the presentation of the course and the European qualification ‘Eco-Trainer’, aimed at improving environmental skills of sectoral traineers, as a first step to improving qualifications. More than 70 professionals from the industry, including trainers, company representatives, training centres and workers, followed the presentations of experts in energy efficiency, training and European sector strategy, as well as the speaches of the representatives of Ministries.
The “Bus.Trainers Final Dissemination Day: Development of environmental skills in the construction sector” is organized by the National Construction Confederation (CNC), in collaboration with Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, and will be held on Monday 27th January at the CNC headquarters (calle Diego de León, 50. 28006 Madrid).
LNEG’s participation in the Seminar ‘Creating Sustainable Value through Circular Economy’, promoted by the Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (IAPMEI SME Academy) and LNEG, in partnership with the Ceramics and Glass Technology Center and the University of Aveiro, allowed during the 28th of November 2019, the disclosure of technological development and innovation projects and business practices focused on the circular economy.
Last friday, Bus.Trainers together with the other projects of the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción led the visit of the delegation from Pedmede (Greek Association of Public Works Contractor Engineers), headed by the president of the Epirus Regional Section of the institution, Ntatsis Georgius. The European initiative was presented as an example of good practice in the training of trainers and in the promotion of environmental values within the construction industry.
Bus.Trainers participated in Second Conference on Innovation in Training of the Construction Industry, organized last October 30th, by Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, with collaboration of Espacio Bertelsmann, in Madrid. The meeting, which was attended by more than one hundred people and was joined by another hundred virtual attendees, addressed the main challenges facing the current construction sector: Virtual Reality, gamification as a way of improving learning, use of BIM, risk prevention, training and commitment to the sector.
LNEG took part at 4º Energy Technology Fair – ENERTECH 2019, in Sabugal, a local fair with great impact and importance for the regional business development, under the strategy “Sabugal, natural energy source”, within the framework of the mission unit ‘Sabugal + Value Rural Development’ that took place from 11th to 13th October.
The course for “Developing the ecological skills of trainers in the construction sector” is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Greek. It is an open training web platform for the training of the trainers and the evaluation of knowledge, endorsed by the European accreditation system.
On September 16th and 17th, Bus.Trainers partners met in Valencia, invited by IRTIC, to hold the eighth meeting of the project. The meeting was focused on testing the course for trainers in environmental skills and its european validation.
IME GSEVEE and CRES organized an endorsement seminar in the frame of the Bus.Trainers project. The seminar was held on 6th September 2019 on IME GSEVEE premises in Athens and its title was ‘The Bus.Trainers project, its link to the European Build Up Skills Initiative and its benefits on the Aluminum Industry’. The 20 participants came from the Aluminum Industry and their professional focus is on innovation and training in this field.
