The “Bus.Trainers Final Dissemination Day: Development of environmental skills in the construction sector” is organized by the National Construction Confederation (CNC), in collaboration with Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, and will be held on Monday 27th January at the CNC headquarters (calle Diego de León, 50. 28006 Madrid).
Juan Lazcano, President of CNC and Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, will be in charge of the opening. In addition, Luis Vega, Deputy director of Architecture and Building of the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and the Urban Agenda, will participate with Raquel Gómez, Programme Director of the Deputy Directorate General for Waste of the Ministry for Ecological Transition. She will debate about “The construction industry in the face of the challenges of the European Green Pact, the circular economy, energy efficiency and Sustainable Development Objectives”.
Enrique Corral, general director of Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, will deal with “The answer of the sector to the qualification needs”. Carmen Prieto, Head of the Training Evaluation, Studies and Organization Unit of Fundación Estatal para la Formación en el Empleo (Fundae), will explain the Skills promotion for a sustainable construction in the Vocational Training for Employment”. From Brussels, Domenico Campograndre, Director General of the European Construction Industry Federation (FIEC), will arrive to discuss about the “Sectoral Strategic Alliances for Skills”, a framework that includes some projects, such as Bus.Trainers and Construction Blueprint, led by the joint entity and in which participate FIEC and CNC.
To conclude, a round table will be opened with partnership representatives of Bus.Trainers. They will present the project outcomes and their national overview of the training of the trainers in the Spanish, Portugal, Greek and Malta construction sectors. The presentations of the international speakers will end with a public debate, in which the main conclusions of the day and of the project will be focused.
The conference will be free and open to the public – with registration – and will have simultaneous translation, closed with a Spanish wine.
