Earlier this month, the Gozo Business Chamber in collaboration with the Malta Intelligent Energy Agency (MIEMA), organised an informative seminar focusing of the importance of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in green skills competencies in the construction sector.
Bus.Trainers has participated in the NetconVet project meeting ‘Network for future innovation of major competences in Vocational Education and Training in construction’, which was held in Helsinki (Finland), during June 5th, 2019.
Bus.Trainers project was disseminated in second meeting of the project “EduZWaCE. Education for Zero Waste and Circular Economy”, through slideshow presentation and distribution of leaflets, on May 23, 2019, at the LNEG, Lisbon. The aim was to introduce the Bus.trainers to the partners of the EduZWaCE project, to mutual dissemination and stimulation of synergies under Erasmus+ programme.
The Portugal Smart Cities Summit event, held at the International Fair of Lisbon (FIL), from May 21 to 23, 2019, was aimed at discussing smart cities as well as presenting smart solutions and projects, where technology and innovation predominate. The Portugal Smart Cities Summit 2019 pointed out topics of great relevance for the Portuguese economy, being considered the largest event on artificial intelligence applied to urban development.
The Italian city of Florence hosted seventh meeting of Bus.Trainers partnership. During May 8th and 9th whole consortium discussed the qualification system and the training course for constructin teachers in “environmental” skills (energy efficiency, renewable energy systems and sustainable construction), at Formedil headquarters in the cradle of the Renaissance.
On 7 and 8 February, the 6th meeting of Bus.Trainers was held with the presence of delegates from Malta, Spain, Italy, Greece and Portugal, in Lisbon, at the Cenfic headquarters, who also held an infoday, in collaboration with Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, the project leader
The information seminar “Efficient and safe buildings: performance evaluation and training of trainers”, held in Rome on 14 December 2018 at the Ance headquarters, was attended by stakeholders from the construction and training sector, such as representatives of bodies and associations.
The Portuguese partner LNEG presented, on 7 December, the Bus.Trainers project along with its others ongoing initiatives in CINCOS’18, the Congress of Innovation on Sustainable Construction, organized by Cluster Sustainable Habitat. An organization that brings together various entities, including: companies, municipalities, research centers and others actors linked to the value chain of construction.
The Maltese municipality of Birgu has been the place chosen by the European consortium to celebrate the fifth meeting of the Bus.Trainers project, belonging to the Erasmus+ program, from 7th to 9th November. The meeting was attended by representatives of the different entities that are part of the project, from Malta, Spain, Italy, Greece and Portugal.
This Friday November 9th we celebrate the Infoday “Building Skills on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Systems for Trainers in the Construction Industry”, in Malta, which aims to promote the training of trainers of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in green skills for subsequent transmission of knowledge to students of VET and continuing vocational training.
