Infoday ‘Building Skills on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Systems for Trainers in the Construction Industry’, in Malta

This Friday November 9th we celebrate the Infoday “Building Skills on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Systems for Trainers in the Construction Industry”, in Malta, which aims to promote the training of trainers of Vocational Education and Training (VET) in green skills for subsequent transmission of knowledge to students of VET and continuing vocational training.

CUOA Business School representatives visited LNEG to know Bus.Trainers project

CUOA Business School representatives, one of the most important management schools in Italy, visited Portugal on last October 3rd, with a small group of 10 company representatives with the main objective of learn and exchange with significant entities (institutions, associations etc.) how the themes of sustainability and circular economy are promoted and put into practices.

LNEG lecture on green skills and trainer profile in the construction industry

It was held on June 27 at LNEG, Lisbon, the lecture “What are green skills? The profile of the trainer in the green skills in the construction industry in Portugal” which intended to make a brief summary of the European project BuS.Trainers, already in the second year of realization.

Our informative seminar on «The importance of the training of trainers in environmental competences for the construction sector», organized by the Confederación Nacional de la Construcción (CNC), with the collaboration of the la Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, on Thursday 10 May, was an event selected by the European Commission to stand out among the actions of the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW).

Bus.Trainers arouses interest among the partners of the Interreg Europe Enerselves project

In an interregional event of the Enerselves project, belonging to the Interreg Europe program, held on last May 17, Bus.Trainers was a focus of attention.

Our partner Malta Intelligent Energy Management Agency (MIEMA), which also participates in Enerselves, referred to the European initiative Bus.Trainers, belonging to the Erasmus + program, given the interest in the training of trainers in the construction sector in the specialties of efficiency energy and renewable energies for the development and competitivity of the industry in Europe.

Trainer training, professional qualifications, user awareness and compliance with quality standards are key aspects for the 2020 horizon, according to experts who participated in the informative seminar on «The importance of training of trainers in ‘green’ skills for the construction sector», organized by Confederación Nacional de la Construcción (CNC), with the collaboration of Fundación Laboral de la Construcción, on Thursday May 10th, attended by about twenty representatives of institutions and companies from the construction industry and the field of training.

Cedefop bet for teachers and trainers’ professional development

Teachers and trainers working in vocational education and training (VET) are key actors to ensure the quality of the professionals and meet to today’s demands. They play an essential role in the implementation of national and Europe reforms. In this sense the European Center for the Development of Vocational Training (Cedefop) supports the development of EU policies that quality teachers and trainers through targeted and transversal activities.

Teachers and trainers’ professional development is a priority on the EU policy agenda. For achieve this, the Bruges communiqué (2010) invited Member States to invest in VET teachers and trainers by offering flexible training provision.

Methodological analysis of Green skills and study of Bus.Trainers qualification

The third Bus.Trainer meeting held in Athens, in the facilities of the Greek partner, (IME GSEVEE) Small Enterprises’ Institute of the Hellenic Confederation of Professionals, Craftsmen, and Merchants, focused on the study of Bus.Trainer qualification posed for the European construction industry and the methodological analysis of “green” skills in order to achieve it.

Spain, Italy, Greece, Malta and Portugal spread the Build Up Skills project in the framework of Bus.Trainers, in Lisbon

Agents of the Bus.Trainer partner institutions made an idea-sharing session of the Build Up Skills projects developed in Spain, Italy, Greece, Malta and Portugal, during the second meeting hold in Lisboa together with the Portuguese partners, the National Laboratory of Energy and Geology (LNEG).

On May 18, more than 60 people went to the event where the Bus.Trainers project was introduced, just like other different initiatives from the south of Europa related to “green” skills, specialized in energy efficient and renewal energies for trainers in the construction sector.
