Pedmede’s Greek delegation finds out about the Fundación Laboral’s European projects

Last friday, Bus.Trainers together with the other projects of the Fundación Laboral de la Construcción led the visit of the delegation from Pedmede (Greek Association of Public Works Contractor Engineers), headed by the president of the Epirus Regional Section of the institution, Ntatsis Georgius. The European initiative was presented as an example of good practice in the training of trainers and in the promotion of environmental values within the construction industry.

Seventeen representatives of the Panhellenic delegation visited the facilities of the Fundación Laboral de Cataluña, who were interested in knowing the synergies of the entity with other institutions and manufacturers. This collaborations promote the latest trends and the training system implemented by the Foundation in the Spanish construction sector, which are based on BIM (Building Information Modeling), and in the promotion of professional skills related to technological changes and digital transformation. All of this seeks to update the skills of the workers and to achieve more competitive and sustainable companies

During the visit, the manager of the joint entity in Catalonia, Lucía López Alé, welcomed the representatives of the Pedmede association and presented the main aims and services of the Foundation. In addition, Silvia Santos, project officer at International Projects department tell the experience of the institution over ten years and highligthed its collaboration in national and international projects that foster a healthier and safer, innovative, qualified, digitalized and sustainable sector.
